For the past 9 years Russ has worked for the Progressive Insurance Company as a Category Manager and Contract Administrator responsible for maintaining working relationships within assigned supply categories. Provides procure to pay process leadership, negotiates and re-evaluates contracts, resolves contract issues and manages financial controls around vendor management for assigned commodities and services.
Russ has contract management experience in, distribution services, general supplies and office equipment, document and information retrieval services, copy services, MRO, and various facilities maintenance services.
Prior to joining Progressive Russ worked for 25 years in International Distribution for the Energizer Battery Company responsible for managing the procure to pay supply of raw materials, equipment and spare parts for assigned international locations. He has export experience in supplying materials to Europe, Singapore, Middle East and Africa.
