ISM Report On Business®
Published in Inside Supply Management™; ISM’s monthly magazine, the Report on Business is considered by many economists to be the most reliable near-term economic barometer available. It is reviewed regularly by top government agencies and economic and business leaders for its timely, accurate information regarding the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors of the economy. PMAC in conjunction with John Carroll University’s Boler School of Business tracks and reports our regional ROB with the participation and support of our member companies.
Recognition and Awards
PMAC honors its founding fathers with the S. Holmes Mansfield Award
. In the fall of 1914, a small group of energetic purchasing agents spearheaded by S. Holmes Mansfield and H.J. Richards assembled in downtown Cleveland to formulate plans for the organization of a "Purchasing Agents Association of Cleveland." Our resulting organization has emerged as one of the best and most progressive local associations in the nation.
In honor of Mr. Mansfield, the Purchasing Management Association of Cleveland began this annual award in 1964 to recognize an individual who has achieved significant professional excellence and served the PMAC with distinction. This award is given to honor members for their outstanding contributions to the growth and welfare of their community, our Association and to the purchasing profession
