Membership Eligibility
Regular Membership - Annual Dues $195.00
Limited to any person in charge of a purchasing or materials management operation or members of a purchasing department having responsibility for purchasing, purchasing research, value analysis, inventory control. Teachers whose academic responsibility in cludes purchasing or materials management and undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full time in an accredited institution. Any person in a related management or consulting field who maintains a basic association with purchasing or materials management. Costs associated with attending monthly dinner meetings are not included in the annual dues.
Associate Membership - Annual Dues $95.00
Available for additional members from the same company provided at least one member from said company is a regular member paying annual dues in full. They are not entitled to voting rights or to hold office.
Life Member - Annual Dues Exempt
Based upon unanimous approval of the Board of Directors with a minimum of ten years regular membership a Life membership may be conferred upon those who have retired from regular employment. Payment of fees associated with attending dinner meetings is required.
Honorary Member - Annual Dues Exempt
Based upon unanimous approval of the Board of Directors with a minimum of ten years regular membership, this class of membership may be awarded to a person in recognition of distinguished or unusual services rendered to the Association or to the purchasing profession.
Student Membership - Annual Dues Exempt
An undergraduate or graduate student enrolled a full time in an accredited four year college, community college, or university. Students are responsible for costs associated with attending dinner meetings.
The Membership Process
1.) Complete Application
2.) Interview and orientation conducted by a representative from the Membership Committee.
3.) Approval by Board of Directors
