| PMAC President’s Message
September 2005
This past summer has flown by and your PMAC Board has been very hard at work preparing for this upcoming year. For you non baby boomers Bob Dylan wrote a song titled “These Times are a Changing” and that is what is happening to PMAC.
Since being elected President in May our PMAC has undergone a significant number of changes:
• In June our long term ( 43 years) , extremely dedicated office employee Glendene Maynard and this organization went their separate ways. We have made her a lifetime member; wish her all our best in her current endeavors; and hope that she will come back and see us at our dinner meetings.
• In July we closed the current office and Debbie Lance graciously agreed to work out of her home.
• Also in July, as a result of your request for a more centrally located dinner meeting place we have changed our location to Ridge Manor Party Center.
• In an effort to further reduce operating costs we have ceased having our monthly newsletter “Bylines” printed and will now send it electronically to all members.
Effective September 1, 2005 Sandy Moir tendered her resignation from the PMAC board and at our dinner meeting in September, we are going to need to elect a new board member to complete her term. If you are or know of someone who is interested in serving on the board please contact the office.
Beginning October 1, 2005 we will be electronically sending out invoices for 2006-2007 dues. Yes, this is earlier than previous years, but we are hoping by giving you plenty of notice you can process the payment thru your organizations without a “last minute rush”
It is my intent to keep the membership well informed and the majority of the information provided will be in electronic format for easy distribution. Therefore, it will be increasingly important that you insure the office has a current and accurate email address for you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding and we are looking forward to an exciting, challenging and educational year.

| PMAC President’s Message
October 2005
I know many of you are beginning to feel bombarded by emails from PMAC and this is another one. But you have a very dynamic Board who are diligently working to provide you, our membership, with a variety of educational opportunities and October is a very busy month. Please continue to view our website www.pmac.org for registration and information on upcoming events.
October 7 – Paul Meshanko, our September dinner speaker presents a half day seminar on Getting a Life – Tips for Better Work Life Balance.
October 18 – As I stated at the dinner meeting, ISM will be replacing the C.P.M. designation in the near future with a new designation, yet to be defined, and now is the time to complete your efforts and earn your C.P.M. Coming back to present Module 1 of our C.P.M. review is our own Dr. Ken Killen. He will also be presenting Module 2 on November 17.
October 20 – ISM is presenting their Satellite Seminar – Tools for Negotiation Success at Cleveland State University.
October 20 - For those of you that did not join us in September at our new location, Ridge Party Center you missed a great meal, excellent dinner speaker and an opportunity to renew old acquaintances. I hope you are planning to join us on October 20 for “Product Development in a Global Supply Chain Environment”.
Come early for our pre-dinner forum starting at 5:00 and listen to an informative presentation on CD entitled Trust – The Foundation of Leadership by Dr. John Maxwell.
I would also like to welcome Ron Aheimer to the Board of Directors who was elected at last month’s dinner meeting to complete Sandy Moir’s term. Ron will take over the duties of the Communication chair.
